Press release from the issuing company

Charlotte, NC. - iTek Graphics announced today that it has installed an HP Indigo 7000 Digital Press and HP Exstream software to expand its portfolio of value-added solutions and meet growing demand for multipage, multicolor projects and variable-data printing.

iTek chose the HP Indigo 7000 to address the faster speeds and higher processing cycles needed to efficiently support increasing volumes of static and variable data print work.

"The HP Indigo 7000, and Exstream software will allow faster file processing, and printing times to help us meet the growing demand for high quality variable-data printing" said John Rawlins, co-owner of iTek. "With the Indigo quality matching that of conventional offset printing, it's become clear that Indigo's digital technology will be the future of print production.

"It's all about turn around" says Julli Goodwin, Marketing Manager and co-owner at iTek. "We found that we had maxed out production on our previous Indigo 5500. We needed additional capacity, and production speeds to meet client demands."

Processing variable data files at up to 4 times the speed of the previous RIP and printing at nearly double the press speed, the HP Indigo 7000 makes it possible to produce more work in less time and at a lower cost. "The HP Indigo 7000 is going to be a real winner with our clients" said Rick Mitchell, Sales Manager and co-owner at iTek. "Speed and Cost Efficiency is name of the game in today's marketplace... and the HP Indigo 7000 delivers."

iTek has been an innovator and adopter of advanced digital technologies since it's first HP Indigo 3000 press 8 years ago.
